“My wife and I looked for a contractor to replace four windows, the wood siding and add insulation to the second floor of the front of our house. We wanted a quality job, we didn’t look for the cheapest contractor. The house is about 130 years old and nothing is level, plumb or square. Brian came to do the estimate. He listened to our concerns and gave us suggestions which we agreed to.Jason came before the work started to make sure all of the supplies were delivered. The windows were delayed so the project started a couple of weeks later than expected. Once the job started we were impressed by the workmanship, attention to major and minor details.The project took a couple of days longer than they estimated. I think this happened because of the age of our house and that everythings took longer to do than they expected. I worried that if this happened to another contractor they would cut corners to keep on schedule but they didn’t cut any corners. They cleaned everything up at the end of each day.We were taking a month-long trip and left before the job was completed. One of the many nice touches was that Jason sent us photos so we could see the completed project.We have two more sides of our house that we want the windows and siding replaced and ZIP System R-sheathing installed. We will be getting another estimate from Brian for these jobs.We highly recommend Brian Hommel based on our experience with them.“
