Highly recommend VCA high peaks animal hospital!! We were driving into lake placid from out of state when our 15 1/2 year old yorkie had two seizures. We called here and they were about to close (6 pm Friday night). We explained our emergency and told them we were still about 20 minutes away and they said they would wait. Unfortunately, we had to put her down. They gave her fluids and made her comfortable so we could say good bye. They were very compassionate and loving. The closest other hospital open with emergency hours was an hour and a half away. We honestly don't know what we would have done if they did not wait for us. Thank you so much VCA High Peaks!!

Our old Dog had a seizure. They got her in the morning we called. The staff is well trained. The vet was informative and helpful. The facility is clean snd they are careful about Covid-19. The care was first rate.

I'd like to thank the staff at High Peaks Animal Hospital in Ray Brook and especially Doctor Cogar, Heather, Lexi, Sarah and Doctor Mensching. Guinness went over the bridge on Saturday 12/14/2019 after being diagnosed with liver cancer. Thanks to their compassionate care his suffering was limited and we can never thank them enough for that. This was our first dog in forty years and he was very much loved by Peg and I. We will in time rescue another and will continue to use their services.
