“We recently had our First visit at Saint James animal Hospital. We bought our 10 week old puppy for her first veterinarian visit. The care and professionalism that we received from the first phone call, The reception desk, The veterinarian technician, And of course, Dr. Star was Exceptional!!!!
We were made to feel comfortable, with a wealth of knowledge and experience being shared with us. The entire team seemed to take an interest in our new puppy And her well-being.
We are so happy to Have our new little girl, Be in the care of Saint James Hospital. We feel confident with the professional and proactive approach, that she is in the best of hands for a healthy, happy life.

“I decided to try this Vet it is close to home and was highly recommended. I was surprised I was able to get a appt. within 24 hours. I have to say this Vet office was spotless, so clean and updated. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We met with Dr. Haley Knopf.. She explained the problem Daisy was having gave her a shot and some meds to put on her paw. We had a follow up appt. and all went well. Our furry friends are like our children and we only want the best for them. I highly recommend Commack Vet. Center on Motor Parkway in Commack.
Had another visit to the Vet and once again very happy with the care. Daisy had a ear infection and she is a very good girl well behaved and they were able to clean her ears and apply a solution. The staff is so good and they take the time to talk to your pet. Can't say enough about this Vet.“

“My nieces cat has had terrible allergies for a year. Her last vet just kept giving steroids and didn't recommend blood work or much else. A colleague referred me here and we have been blown away by: 1) the empathy on the phone 2) the availability for an appt 3) the time Dr.Tara took to listen to the background, review records from the former vet, and explain a strategy. We aren't sure if the treatments will work yet, but we know we are in good hands!“

“I've used them 3 times and I think they're great. They even squeezed me in when my little chihuahua had pancreatitis on a Saturday. They made room even though they were jammed packed . It would have cost me a fortune if I had to go to emergency on sunday . The little guy is doing good and I'm so thankful. Most of all the constant smiles are what really helped me calm down from being in a panic mode. To bad they cant subscribe anti anxiety meds for the parents. Lol . “Both brothers are wonderful. Treated my pup great. I had double cherry eye surgery on my 5 Mos. old puppy. Dr. Cintron put my mind at ease. Everything went well.Only problem I have is I can never tell them apart as they are identical twins.Whenever I call with a question they always call me back.I had been looking for a new vet and picked Twins because of all the great reviews. He healed very well and the medical post care steps were very helpful. The only thing that was of concern was that his leash was not returned, and he did come back where his face was a little drenched.“

“Dr. Cronin is incredibly caring, kind and humane with you and your fur babies. She's honest, transparent and explains everything to you so that you make an informed decision. She doesn't manipulate you into getting unnecessary things that won't help your vet reach a diagnosis. And if what is needed is something out of her expertise, she will provide a referral to a trusted expert. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Dr. Cronin and her friendly staff. Because it's a small practice, don't wait until the last minute to make an appointment. However, if you need to be seen same day, call and many times they will do their best to accommodate you. This is a great and loving practice.“

“Highly recommend. Use to take my pugs there for all the vet needs and was awhiles taking care of. Unfortunately my pugs passed. I have a pitbull now and was using another vet until my dog was in so much pain she couldn’t walk. That vet told me they can’t get her in for two weeks and if she’s in that much pain she can be on the waiting list. Minded I wouldn’t be calling if she wasn’t in pain. I brought her here the whole 6 years I’ve had her so far minded. . Called dr templeton office and they asked me about my dog cared about how my dog feels and her pain level didn’t have an app to the next day but the lady Lauren understood my dogs needs called me back and got me in the same day. Now my dog is up this morning walking and happy. And I can’t be more grateful and thankful. 5 starts all around. Everyone should bring their pets here.“

“My cat Cora this year, had recently been diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer which was located in her mammary gland, we had to do back to back visits from blood work to surgery and I cannot thank Doctor Harris enough for the work and effort she’s put in. She is pretty much the only person I can trust to deal with Cora one on one especially since my cat can be extremely aggressive and won’t hesitate to scratch or bite. If you are looking for a vet that is affordable and reasonable with her pricing and cares for your animals as if they were her own, you should definitely consider Doctor Harris.
