“Chris is a talented barber. I have long curly hair (type 2c) and came in to shape it down for the summer. Chris was all around excellent - asked all the right questions to make sure he knew what I was looking for, made suggestions for me to consider, and gave me a great cut. He was patient and thorough, and it was clear he knew what he was doing. Would highly recommend for men with long hair, the barbershop/salon combo is one of a kind.

“Sue and her staff came into our lives over the summer when as a single dad i had to turn to the community for help with my daughter's summer camp. Every interaction has been as impressive as the last. She threw a Pamper Day Birthday party for my 12yo daughter and her 5 friends. In fact Emily is up there now studying in the salon as i write this from work. Sue is an Angel and highly talented stylist and business woman. This Lake Ave community highlight is a must try.“

“I am literally just home from getting my hair done here by Stephanie. I am sooo happy and satisfied with how my hair turned out. I described what I wanted and how my hair had been cut before, my lifestyle etc and didn't even need inspo photos for her to understand exactly what I was looking for. Stephanie is very precise and you can tell that she really cares about the experience and the way she cuts your hair, and she's very easy to talk to but I can tell I would be just as comfortable with her if I wasn't in a chatty mood. “Got a keratin treatment done on my color treated hair! I have very frizzy curly hair, which only gets worse with humidity. I found this salon on Groupon when searching for Keratin. First photo is the day before, then after the treatment and then the first time I wash my hair 3 days after the treatment. Keep in mind your curls will not be at all how they were but it’s significantly less frizzy! Entire process was quick (2 1/2 hours) definitely recommend.“
