I moved to Saint James and was nervous about finding a good dentist. I made an appointment at St. James Dental Care and it was a great consultation that I had no reason to look elsewhere. The services I've had here have been amazing! The staff is absolutely wonderful from all their dentist to the receptionist. They care about doing a good job and feels like family when you go for your visit! 100% recommend all of three of their dentist :)
Manny did an amazing job with the inspection for our potential house.. he found tons of little things that I, as a first time home owner, would not have even thought to check. He has a great attention to detail and explained everything to us as he performed the inspection. He also provided a detailed report that outlined everything in very simple terms, easy to understand even for someone who is not intimately familiar with details about each of the things reported. Beyond that he is super approachable and was able to answer any questions we had.
I cannot recommend Homeguard enough and will be using them for all future home purchases!
Brianna is straight up a master at her craft! She never, ever disappoints. She takes her time and always makes sure her clients are comfortable. I have absolutely not negative to say about Brianna and the staff at Collective Salon! Highly recommend them!
I've been a client of Nate for quite some time now, and I can confidently say he's one of the best barbers in long island. Nate's attention to detail is impeccable, and he consistently delivers exceptional haircuts.
Love the instructors, they're always extremely encouraging and empowering. I like that they have classes that combine cycling with other exercise. Have also been to their barre and it's quite the workout. Big fan of this place
Chris is a talented barber. I have long curly hair (type 2c) and came in to shape it down for the summer. Chris was all around excellent - asked all the right questions to make sure he knew what I was looking for, made suggestions for me to consider, and gave me a great cut. He was patient and thorough, and it was clear he knew what he was doing. Would highly recommend for men with long hair, the barbershop/salon combo is one of a kind.

It should not have taken me this long to rave about Sydney but here we are.. I’ve been getting air brush tans by Sydney for a couple of years now before vacations and special events and her technique and product are flawless every time! Today she did a lash lift and tint on me which superseded my expectations, I can’t stop looking at them! Sydney is the sweetest, most humble, and talented artist I’ve ever worked with and always makes me feel beautiful inside and out! Thank you for all you do!

The dentist isn’t my favorite place to go , but at this office I feel comfortable and calm. The staff is lovely and personable, and they do beautiful work . They set there standards high and are definitely a step above. From getting a cleaning to crown work I’m very happy.
Quality barbershop! Soner is wonderful. Reservations are easy with the Vagaro app. Never a wait with an appointment. Started bringing my kids this past year and they love coming too. I've had cuts with Oz and Eddie and was left very impressed. Highly recommend Kubat!

I had them all however, this company knows what they are doing. Had them at my 2 homes fixed it all and did not push to sell me a new roof not once. A friend of mine had a chronic leak well not anymore. As far as I'm concerned...the place to go.
I want to thank Jim and the staff at Suffolk County acupuncture for always such an amazing experience! After i suffered a loss and then trying to get pregnant again i was having no luck. I looked up holistic approach and saw acupuncture was a great option i then came across Jim office from the initial consultation i knew Jim was the perfect person for me. I felt no judgement, someone i can be open with and wanted to truly help. I am happy to say i am 18weeks pregnant and honestly believe Jim was a big part of that! We recently had our First visit at Saint James animal Hospital. We bought our 10 week old puppy for her first veterinarian visit. The care and professionalism that we received from the first phone call, The reception desk, The veterinarian technician, And of course, Dr. Star was Exceptional!!!!
We were made to feel comfortable, with a wealth of knowledge and experience being shared with us. The entire team seemed to take an interest in our new puppy And her well-being.

Dave and the team did a great job. The team was in for about 2-1/2 weeks to completely rip out and replace our master bathroom (down to bare studs). Dave also completed some other work not directly related to the bathroom. Overall, Dave and the team, including all his subcontractors were always professional, on time each and did an overall great job. He has an attention to detail and checked the work each day to make sure everything was right. He kept us in the loop before and during the work on the status of the job. We couldn't be more happy with how it all came out. Our existing bathroom was 20+ years old and was in major need of a repair. I recently completed an introductory workshop for oil painting with Randall DiGiuseppe. The class and instructor were both outstanding. I had never painted with oils before, and Randall created the perfect environment to begin and learn with confidence. His effective explanation of materials, skills, and key concepts made the time engaging, informative, and enjoyable. The workshop has even impacted my day-to-day awareness of color and light as I consider subjects to paint. I learned exactly what I needed to continue painting on my own, and will definitely look for additional opportunities to develop my skills further. They did a beautiful job with alterations on my wedding dress. The manufacture gave me the wrong size and it was too late to get a new one. Pearla went above and beyond to make sure I fit in it and I loved it. Highly recommend them.

Sue and her staff came into our lives over the summer when as a single dad i had to turn to the community for help with my daughter's summer camp. Every interaction has been as impressive as the last. She threw a Pamper Day Birthday party for my 12yo daughter and her 5 friends. In fact Emily is up there now studying in the salon as i write this from work. Sue is an Angel and highly talented stylist and business woman. This Lake Ave community highlight is a must try.

What a class act this company is. During Covid lockdowns, they delivered free trays of flowers to me and my neighbors here in St James. Their facility is spotless, and the drivers super considerate. If you go anywhere else your getting ripped off. I have been going to victor for 5yrs, I have never meet a more dedicated mechanic in my 50years. He is a professional that will get the job done right the first time. Always a phone call away to help you at anytime. The man works till 8pm and later for all your mechanical needs.
I had the pleasure of hiring Scott Brown to renovate my parents kitchen. They are senior citizens and had reservations about taking on such a large project. I assured them after our first meeting with Scott that he would be perfect for the job. We went to bare bones on demolition and Scott was there every step of the way to walk and talk them through every choice. These choices were not limited to placement of appliances, etc. but also included much needed advisement on design. That is when I saw him shine. His creativity and suggestions were on spot. His crew was respectful and made sure my parents were inconvenienced as little as possible during construction. His custom finish carpentry is stellar. He was reliable and available at anytime to address their questions and concerns. My parents absolutely love their new space and enjoy family gatherings with joy. He is a consummate professional. His work is perfection!!

Got a keratin treatment done on my color treated hair! I have very frizzy curly hair, which only gets worse with humidity. I found this salon on Groupon when searching for Keratin. First photo is the day before, then after the treatment and then the first time I wash my hair 3 days after the treatment. Keep in mind your curls will not be at all how they were but it’s significantly less frizzy! Entire process was quick (2 1/2 hours) definitely recommend.
I am literally just home from getting my hair done here by Stephanie. I am sooo happy and satisfied with how my hair turned out. I described what I wanted and how my hair had been cut before, my lifestyle etc and didn't even need inspo photos for her to understand exactly what I was looking for. Stephanie is very precise and you can tell that she really cares about the experience and the way she cuts your hair, and she's very easy to talk to but I can tell I would be just as comfortable with her if I wasn't in a chatty mood. I felt so good at the end of the appointment andshe hyped me up and was so sweet!
This is my first time at Barbi Nail, and Christine did an excellent job. Since I was a first-time customer, I was a bit confused. Christine was very thoughtful and explained the differences between each type of nail to me. She didn't just recommend the most expensive options, but instead asked about my daily activities and recommended the ones that would suit me. The conversation during the process was very relaxing, and I will definitely come back again.
