I found out this past Friday that the gas had been shutoff to his house and with thefreezing temps coming we needed a remedy fast to keep from dealing with frozen waterlines. After national grid turned on the gas I called Jim's to start the furnace and service it. unfortunately the furnace was 35 plus years old and a rusty piece of junk beyond repair. Jim's was kind enough to squeeze us into their packed schedule on 24 hours notice to winterize the property to avoid any frozen lines and water damage. “We recently needed some plumbing work done and were referred to Bartlett's Plumbing by Greg's Plumbing, whom we've used before but were unavailable for a few weeks. Bartlett's initially said it might take a couple of days to schedule our appointment, which wasn't an issue for us. To our delight, they showed up the very next day!

“Quite literally the ONLY company who would answer the phone or get out here in a reasonable amount of time, he offered to come the same night but it was so late so I had him come the next morning. Repaired quickly and cheap, heating ran fine for a month and eventually my 50 year old boiler went out and Alfred worked with me to get it replaced within less than 48 hours, right before it was in the negatives. I did tons of research on prices and can confidently say I got a great deal on the installation of a brand new boiler. On my own with my toddler, and not being from this area, being in the negative temps with no heat could’ve been a scary situation but H&B really came through for us.
