You let our cat die-you're useless and caused a situation that was avoidable because you're masquerading as an animal hospital. I thought I had a vet that cared-I could have gone to another vet-we trusted you. Mikey was your patient. You turned his situation into life or death by not seeing a sick cat for two weeks. At the time of the original call it was not an emergency-it became an emergency and ultimately too late-because for some reason-neither Rome or Camden locations was willing to see him. Their patient! I wonder in that time period who actually got an appointment. I wish we had seen the awful reviews on here before this tragedy. Close your doors so no one else has to suffer for your incompetence and apathy. This place is more concerned with how they look on Yelp than actually treating animals. If you had taken just a little bit of time you may have been able to help Mikey. He was only a year old and we were hoping to have another 14+ years with literally the sweetest cat. Our hearts break every moment. Negative one million stars! Do not go here! They will not help you! You pet will die and they will hang up on you. Yes they hung up on us-apparently they're also taking the time to flag our reviews on here too. You have time for that-seeing a sick animal though-no
I "had" a beautiful little boy, named Brodie. He "was" a Miniature Schnauzer", Last Thursday at 3:30 he suffered what i believe was either a stroke, or a seizure, I'll never know now. We called Rome animal hospital, note I said Hospital, to get him right in. We were told that the doctor,( note I said doctor because I'll come back to that) was too busy to see him. All we wanted was an assessment, and treatment recommendations. Then instructed us to monitor him and call back tomorrow morning. Brodie deteriorated through the night, we called next morning and were then told check back in a few hours, which we did . Upon calling back, then told that the doctor would be too busy, and was leaving at 5:00 for the weekend. Next morning at 6:51 am our beloved boy died in my arms. I wouldn't recommend you take an earth worm there. Aren't staff allowed to do assessments. Back to the doctor, they swear an oath, just as a human doctor. Oh and by the way, paying for services has never been a problem with them as we were patients of that hospital for years. Corporate Greed. And I will never return for services again, and neither should you. Sincerely, Grieving parent.
I have been a client here for over three years. I have paid to have 13 litters of puppies seen and inoculated and I have given them praise. IT HAS ALL CHANGED! This has become a terrible experience and I doubt that there is concern at all anymore for the animals we hold so dear. I have four dogs. Recently, my 10 year old Shepherd has pain in his hindquarters, displacia would be my guess. Here's a rundown: -They are taking new patients - PLEASE RECONSIDER IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET -New patients are booking into May or June - lets hope you don't need anything important other than shots. -My dog has significant pain and they said they are booked until APRIL 4th. This is FEBRUARY 21st. Exactly what am I to do to ease his pain for the next 6 weeks. Apparently not at all their concern. They are taking new patients and can't take the time to ease the pain of a current client. Why would you accept new patients if you can't handle your current case load. Apparently they have an answer - become robots and not care at all. This organization has become a train wreck! I asked for my records to be sent to another vet and not one word of concern as to why I'm leaving. They don't want to retain because many are no longer invested in "vet med" as one vet currently working there had stated to me. My objective here is to help anyone else from believing in the fake concern they are selling. Not worth the money and certainly not worth the risk you are taking with your dog. Choose wisely. Adarondack Vet Clinic was happy to help my shepherd within a day or two. Thank God for organizations that live the words on their website and not just go through the motions. Ridiculous and sad at the same time! Avoid the trainwreck and find someone you can believe in - you're pets life depends on it.
