Easily the best experience I’ve had in Rome so far. All their staff is top tier professional and the barbershop has a very welcoming vibe. Anyone can provide you with a consistently nice cut no matter which chair you sit in. Unfortunately inconsistency with barbers at some places in Rome is an issue as well. I’ve had issues in the past with booking appointments at other barbershops and not having them stay true to the general time we agreed upon. Overall cleanliness is another things they seem on top of as well. Unfortunately I’ve noticed some sanitation issues at other places too.
They have a lot of the older pipe fittings I needed they were very helpful and even ordered a part for me..I never went to them before I would always run to Lowe's..and was sick of my products breaking...so I was told to go to Utica plumbing and they will be my new go too

Sal' Barbershop's exceptional beard trim was a true diamond in the rough find. They worked with me to get the right trim. It evoked memories of a classic barbershop experience from 30 years ago, complete with the aroma of hot shaving cream and the serenity of a bygone time. Sports (on tv) were intertwined in the experience, adding a sense of tradition and comfort in true 2024 fashion. It isn't your grandfather's Barbershop!
Requested style: I walked in asking for a beard trim. I never had one done and wasn't sure even what I wanted done. The barber Joe walked me through the processes and asked the questions needed to provide what I was looking to have done.

Hair type: Shaved head with a beard (that now actually looks great!)
Stylist: Joe, a knowledgeable barber/stylist who was on the ready and answered all my questions and even turned my daughters opinion on my beard around. "I love it" (her reaction). Last week she wanted it shaved off so thanks for saving my beard Joe.

Month after month with an issue and they helped to solve it in less than a day. They went above and beyond and showed that they care about their customers. Everything was clean and the technicians very polite. The pedicure was great, I like my nails though they are on the thick side and have some high spots will be going back.

While the staff isn't real friendly, they still have provided me with good haircuts at reasonable prices! If I'm not happy with the cut, they are quick to fix it. I like getting the job done without someone talking my ears off. Big bonus now is seeing how the grandchildren are growing up. It's nice to be at a family oriented establishment.
I have been going to Maureen Englebrecht for my hair for at least6 months now and I couldn't be more pleased. I am growing out my hair from a previous short style and Maureen is assisting that process by keeping my bangs trimmed and keeping the rest of my hair in shape as it grows. I get lots of compliments and I enjoy my hair alot more than when I was cutting it myself. Her rates are reasonable. I enjoy going to my appointments with her, I get some "ME TIME" and it's fun! I highly recommend her!

I used stylists from Tangles for my wedding at Vernon Downs and we are so happy with the results! We had 8 girls get their hair done and between the 2 stylists we were done in less than 3 hours! Tried to find a roofer to repair a side porch roof where the gutter was leaking. Called several people. No response. Called Dixon Home Improvements. Got an immediate response. Came to look at the problem on a Friday afternoon. Gave me a very reasonable estimate. Came back Saturday morning to sign a contract. Did the work on Sunday. Very professional. Neat & clean.
