It was a very tough time losing our aunt. I cannot tell you how wonderful the experience was working with Macken Mortuary's staff Karen and Jeff. They were compassionate, helpful and took care of every detail for us. I could not tell you how fortunate we were to have their support during a very sad time.
Losing a loved one is never easy. There are so many decisions to be made, all while grieving! Roger, Margaret, and the rest of the staff at Macken Mortuary went above and beyond my expectations.They truly cared. They were professional, patient, kind, and compassionate through the whole process as my family celebrated my mom’s life. Thank you to this wonderful team!
5 stars? Not enough! To describe the compassionate help, patience, attention, and financially realistic (because goodness knows new york cremation is normally not!) that Margaret of New Leaf Cremation afforded us in the very difficult process of losing my Dad. There are no end to the positive things I have to say about working with Macken Morturary (not quite as much with the NJ location, which is lovely when you get inside) but the facilities, staff, process, and pricing at New Leaf with Margaret are the bees knees, as Dad would say! If all of what I said wasn't enough, I'll say this: I picked up the planning packet and will be making pre-arrangements for myself... read full review
