Very prompt after hours emergency response to clogged drain causing water damage on main floor and in to basement. Set up mitigation treatment and cleaning and ripped out damaged items within 24 hours. Highly recommend.
Our sump pump broke and we had a sewer main blockage that caused my mostly finished basement to flood with almost 6 inches of water. The sewer then exploded into our upstairs and caused a ton of damage. Andy came immediately from rotor rooter to assess the water damage and stayed for several hours going through every nook and cranny and writing a comprehensive report about what was damaged while formulating a plan to both clean and fix it. Kyle, the rotor rooter plumber, was there within 2 hours and also stayed til almost 11 at night to unclog the sewer outside and get the sump pump going. It was a very stressful and unexpected event, and I literally couldn’t have gone through it without their sense of immediacy, outstanding concern for customer service and comprehensive knowledge of the situation. I can’t say enough about how reassuring they were and the confidence they instilled. Both Andy and Kyle showed such empathy for our situation and confidence in their skills that I immediately felt better about a situation I was completely unprepared for. I now have 3 crews of 2 guys working like crazy cleaning out my basement, reassessing damage, organizing and sanitizing everything. They were here by 9 am and are extremely efficient, knowledgeable and customer focused. Jeremiah (who is not surprisingly Andy’s brother!) clearly knows everything there is to know about what to save, what is beyond damaged and how to sanitize everything to prevent mold or more damage. The crew here is just as kind and empathetic as Andy and Kyle last night and clearly care about what they do and how they do it. Based on my experience with rotor rooter over the past 18 hours or so, I would highly recommend them to fix any plumbing needs or water damage. They understand the whole process from determining what happened, how to sustainably fix and clean it as well as information and assistance with the insurance process. They were extremely responsive, timely and efficient, and the people they employ (I’ve now met 7 of them!!) are at the top of their game and genuinely care about their customers.
