My home has the original narrow plank hardwoods. The floors are over 60 years old. Rochester Hardwood, literally has made them look brand new! Their work is consistently good. Two years ago, I had the floors on the main level refinished, and last month I had the 2nd floor floors refinished. I’m amazed at how well the floors turn out.
The only reason for not giving a perfect 5 star review: the shoe molding trim really takes a beating and in several areas there was polyurethane splashed up on my walls and trim.

I was referred by a relative with Chris for someone we can trust. However I was met with a nightmare. Chris the installer name dropped Rochester hardwood and that “he’s the best that company ever had”. Did a terrible job never finished and was an utter failure. He used my hardwood products recklessly and couldn’t manage the additional 10% of product. He failed to inspect wood for imperfections or cracks. He miss treated my tools, he used the air gun way too fast putting dings in the edge of the wood and using less cleats then recommended. After working with Chris I find that his life long problems like drugs and alcohol has finely taken a toll on his life and... read full review
