“I've gotten sculptra done here by Angela twice. I had never had anything done before this. Angela and I decided on two vials of sculptra for overall volume loss with an emphasis on my cheek bones. Her communication was thorough and she took her time injecting the sculptra throughout many areas of my face. We spaced my injections out between two visits. I couldn't have been happier with the results and the healing went great. A few years later, I had a very different experince with Angela. My face was more sunken in the lower part of my cheeks than on the upper part. Angela advised me to get two vials of sculptra. I completely trusted her judgment. I got two vials and wanted to address the volume loss that was more noticeable on my lower cheeks. She injected me in just a few spots on each cheek and all the product looked like it ballooned into my lower cheek area. Yes, I had volume loss there and wanted it fuller- but not like I had grown an apple in each cheek. Two vials was really just too much product and I strongly believe it was Angela's responsibility to provide better guidance and advisement. Right before she injected me I overheard conversation about how tired and sleep deprived Angela was. Life is hard and sleep deprivation happens- I really wish I didn't hear this right before an injection. My face was extremely swollen the next day and stayed this way for a few weeks. Angela said this was because I chose to do both vials at once. I believe I should have been told how severe the swelling could be if I chose this, or advised against doing this altogether. After the swelling went down, I still didn't look like myself. I was distraught with how full my lower cheeks were. Shortly after I had a health scare that limited my ability to address this. An entire year went by before I went back to talk to Angela (part of which I was out of state for specialized treatment). This is obviously my fault but I also think Angela was really insensitive about it. Ultimately I learned a really tough lesson and never want to go through this again. It was also a $1400 lesson. I'm getting through this by knowing that my apple cheeks are only temporary. I think she injected me based on her personal taste instead of realizing she didn't understand that I was only trying correct my natural loss of volume. I know Angela is talented and has a good eye, but the quality and attentiveness varies greatly depending on how she's feeling.Photos- I posted a before, right after, and full results of both times I got sculptra in chronological order.“

“As a result of some reading about mindfulness and sleep over the holiday break, I decided it was finally time to dip my toe into the world of CBD! After dropping off some returns at the UPS store next door, I found myself in Hemp It Up. The store is super inviting and you are welcomed by some vegan, organic wear - including hats, scarves, bags and more. I headed over to the large section labelled CBD and started my quest. I didn't catch the name of the person working, but I had a lot of questions, and she was SO MUCH MORE HELPFUL than the internet!! I wasn't sure the best place to start and she gave me three different options to test things out without investing a bunch of money into something I may not like. I ended up going with a CBD Maple Pecan Chocolate bar (shocking) and an 8 pack of gummies to get me through about a week of testing. She walked me through dosage, appropriate protocol, and what to expect. I am so grateful to her for demystifying the experience! I can't know for sure if it was *just* the CBD, but after eating half of my CBD chocolate bar in two separate servings, I had the most focussed day of work and best night of sleep I have had in a WHILE. I am going to go back next week and pick up a small vile of oil (the other option she suggested for me) and see what changes result from that as well. Hemp It Up has made me a loyal customer as a result of their tailored customer service and wide range of CBD products. Did you know this store also owns Bodymind Float Center two doors down?! Talk about a zen state of mind!“

We laughed during the appointment (which I've never experienced at any kind of medical appointment before), he addressed my concerns very thoroughly, and provided some incredibly useful and helpful information. I am SO THANKFUL that I came back to Helendale and got an appointment with him. Mike is the best! Truly.
