My son started this program through Penfield Rec as a short term activity. It has evolved into my son absolutely loving it and he is not a long-term student. The Sensei's are wonderful and make it very fun for the kids while also teaching them great life skills. You can see the joy in the kids faces as they learn and grow in confidence in their skills. Strongly suggest getting your young child involved.

If you are looking for a place where your child will be encouraged, loved, and challenged in a great way, I highly recommend Martial Arts America!! My son has flourished mentally and physically and class is always a highlight of our week! Thank you to Sensai Matt for creating such a wonderful dojo experience.

My daughter started going here as soon as she turned 4. I put my daughter in here in hopes it would help with her focus and discipline. As a new 4 year old she has a very short attention span. From day 1 to now I see a major difference. At first she was bouncing around, and losing focus quick. The senseis with their heart of gold and children whispering abilities lol always helped her keep focus and stay with the class. When she has trouble there is always someone to help. Everyone is so nice, polite and very good with kids. Now a days she goes in listens, focuses and completes what's asked of her all while having fun. She looks forward to karate every week.
