As a first time home owner I wasn't sure how or by who I was going to get my deck replaced by. So I placed an ad on Hyde Park Neighbors and had quite a few responses. G came in with the best price (which means a lot when you're on SSDI) but mostly I just had a good feeling about him. So now it's great to walk out on my new deck, that I know was a task since it's an old house and nothing is square and not hear any noises or worry about which step was going to go thru the old boards. He did a great job and left everything neat and clean.
G recently installed our new dishwasher and replaced our kitchen faucet . I was thrilled to find someone that was very responsive in navigating our busy schedule to find a time that worked for us . In a time where stores like Lowes can have installation dates months out , it made me even more grateful that G was able to get it done in a timely manner. He did a great job on installing both the dishwasher and faucet , left the work area clean , and even took a moment to text pictures of how it came out as I was at work. I will definitely be contacting G’s Handyman Services again in the future for other household improvements , and would recommend him to even my pickiest family and friends.
Simply the best! Gerado is truly one of a kind and his work ethic is unmatched. I first found him through a google search to assemble furniture . He was polite, professional , neat, courteous and punctual. Then a month later I contacted him when our contractor disappeared mid project leaving us with 1/2 a renovated kitchen,2 unfinished bathrooms, no trim or baseboards, exposed plumbing and dangerous electrical conditions. Gerado was very compassionate about our situation and immediately made plans to work us into his schedule. His price was fair and he committed to finishing the project in 3 weeks.......which he did! He and his team worked 6 days a week , showing up at 7am each day and working 10 hours most days! Like I said......his work ethic is unmatched. NO ONE works harder! They did everything....electrical, custom cabinet installation, plumbing, tile work, baseboard, trim, flooring, painting, installed a large window, installed fixtures and glass stall shower. And although living through a renovation is not always pleasant, he and his team ( Joe and DJ) were a pleasure to have in our home every day. I look forward to working with G and his team soon to do some exterior work to our home and other projects. Here are some before and after pics:
