I’m writing to share what happened at the school's Halloween dance party on October 25th that truly highlighted my seventh-grade son W's growth and character, and to express my sincere gratitude for the invaluable lessons he’s learned through his years at Tiger Schulmann.
At the Halloween dance party, W witnessed a sixth-grade student being bullied and being repeatedly hit in the face by one of his classmates. Without hesitation, he stepped in to protect and support this boy when others could only look on, defusing the situation and preventing further harm. We have been so happy with TSMA Bayside. Our 6 years old son has gained so much confidence and strength within the past year, as well as self discipline. He gets home and wants to practice what he learns but also wants to become more independent. Sensei and the rest of the team are very inspiring, thoughtful and thorough in their teaching and most importantly helping our kids to become a disciplined, respectful and hard working generation. Our son has even got a special nickname as Power Pletinskiy and I bet this will follow him for the future. Highly recommended, don’t hesitate to try it out!
