“To whom this may concern. I hope this message finds you well. This is for the Middle Village location regarding the employee Melanie. Melanie is by far the best tannist I have experienced in Beach bum and anywhere. I've been coming to BB for a spray tanning since my 2022 wedding and 75% of time it is great which is why I keep coming back ...there really is nothing like an airbrush tan. Unfortunately however for the other 25% of the time the tannists have no idea what they're doing. It's like a hit or miss ....like getting a coffee at Dunkin' Donuts ...you walk right in and you have no idea what you're gonna come out with. Needless to say every tan is not created equal. A lot of this is clearly because managers are not even willing to admit the mistake in order to fix it (such as Paramus location) and are not training correctly. Or worse, enticing employees to be... well.. simply unlikeable. This is not all of them I've been to four locations and most of the time it's good, but it does happen way more than it should happen for the price we pay. However Melanie at Middle Village is perfect. She goes above and beyond to actually care about what she could improve and she really cares about the customers content when they come for a service. As a life coach I have helped hundreds of business succeed and what business needed was employees like Melanie. Melanie is amazing. Hopefully she's getting the recognition pay and respect that she deserves.“
