I just love their services. I tried so many spa but I like this one most. I do my eyelashes extension and facial here. I forget to ask her name but for me she is the best one and so friendly. She always take care that I felt comfortable or not. Indeed, I just fall in love with shining health spa and I think from now on it will be my permanent spa ?❤️ Thank you so much ?

My favorite spa in Astoria, have searched high and low for a consistently good facial and massage experience and this it it! All the rooms and bathroom are always clean and the establishment seems to be owned and run by women and I always feel super comfy. I originally purchased the Groupon facial deal and I've been getting facials there for about a year. It's a great combo of estheticians who make you comfortable and know what treatments to use on your skin. They really take their time, the products smell and feel great. It's the little details like making sure the steam is at the right temperature, doing a great facial massage and doing a shoulder and arm massage while you get your rubber mask - a lot of places just kind of leave you in a room while you get wear a sheet mask. My skin is always glowing and happy when I leave. The massages are just as good, I can tell my masseuses know anatomy and they really help get those difficult knots out. I like that they check in to make sure the pressure is good (I have had massages that are way too hard at other places and I suffer in silence lol) They use heat pretty effectively with hot stones and hot packs. I haven't tried their other services but definitely going to do my lashes at some point!

My facial was excellent however the pushy lady at the front desk almost ruined the experience. The second I arrived she demanded I pay the credit card tax since I had a Groupon. I paid the few dollars that was fine. Once it was time to examine my skin she said it was extremely dry (thanks, I know) and tried to upsell me. Then came the facial/massage which was wonderful. I made sure to tip on the full amount the service would have been. As I left I had another encounter with the pushy lady telling me I need to come back soon, once again implying that my skin was terrible, and not to use a Groupon next time! Ok, If you are trying to get me to not come back, good job. Again, treatment- fantastic, customer service- awful.
