I highly advise considering all aspects of your care before choosing this doctor's office for your pregnancy. There are three doctors within this office. I started with one who was absolutely horrible and very unprofessional. I switched to a different one who is my current doctor, and while I have felt comfortable with her care, the front desk's incompetence has made the experience unbearable. The front desk staff has been a consistent source of frustration due to ineffective communication, lack of direction, poorly explained company policies, failure to forward messages to my doctor, unprofessional attitudes, and visible inability to control emotions in a professional setting. I have requested to speak to the office manager, Steven Founders, on three separate occasions, and he never returned my calls. One particularly frustrating incident involved dropping off a form for my doctor. The front desk worker's tone and facial expressions were unprofessional, and she failed to give me a timeline for when the form would be filled out. I had to dig for answers about the policy, which I learned is 3-7 business days for form completion. When I needed the form by a specific date, the front desk informed me it wouldn't be done in time and would be ready at my appointment instead. There was no tracking system for the forms, and I was not informed that the front desk fills out the forms, with the doctor only signing them. My concern with this was questions being filled out incorrectly. After a frustrating phone conversation with a front desk worker who interrupted me and spoke unprofessionally, I visited the office to speak with the office manager or supervisor. I was told the office manager was on paid time off. My doctor was incorrectly informed that I wanted to speak with her, but she eventually understood the issue. The front desk agreed to have my form done, but it was filled out incorrectly, which validated my concern and potentially delaying my access to necessary resources. Being pregnant is a vulnerable state, and this office failed to provide the compassion, support, and professionalism required in the OBGYN field. Unfortunately, my experience has been marked by incompetence and lack of support, making me regret staying at this practice. A patient shouldn't have to be the middle man between a doctor and front desk staff. They should be able to effectively communicate amongst themselves. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision about their care & I will definitely be escalating this matter.
