“Very nice gym. It’s clean, conveniently placed, and the people aren’t very invasive either. There’s also a considerable amount of space between machines so you’re not on top of people.“

“Strong is a great gym with great teachers. I have been taking the adult kickboxing classes for over a year and I love it! The gym provides a safe, friendly atmosphere and it is amazing what a great workout you get in one hour! Students range from 16 to 60, men and women.I had worked out in other ways over the years but had never done kickboxing before. It is definitely challenging at first but in 2-3 weeks, you get in the groove for both the conditioning and the kick-boxing parts. And it's way more fun than programs like Orange Theory or just lifting weights.I highly recommend Strong Martial Arts. It really is a great workout option for all skill levels.“

“This is an awesome gym with an amazing atmosphere, once I walked in I was greeted by nearly every member of their team introducing themselves including the head coach Sensei John. Sensei John is a very kind person with a wealth of martial arts knowledge who has produced many great coaches and instructors as well as talented fighters. He will take his time to teach u every technique down to the last detail. His fight team is large and talented with tons of well skilled fighters all from different backgrounds who all have different styles so it’s always fresh. He brings in coaches from not only around the country but around the world and every Sunday brings in tons of fighters from different schools and hosts what he calls “spar wars” where you get to train with different guys with different style so it’s always fresh.Striking 101 is an amazing gym whether your goal is to fight or to just get a workout in you will learn how to defend yourself in a fun and challenging way.“

“Been at this yoga studio for almost two years. Love how it's close knit, friendly and positive instructors who not only help you with physical yoga abilities but also mental strength. Space is very clean, zenful, one of the best neighborhood, small businesses. Classes maximum is 8 people but rarely does it fill up, thus you receive full attention compared to other crammed studios.“

Great class, variety of exercises so you are never bored and lets not forget great classes headed by instructor Albert: teenagers appreciate his style while they learn important skills of self-defense!“

“I started training here almost a year and a half ago. Being a woman in the city, I really wanted to gain confidence by knowing how to defend myself in real world scenarios. This place has given me just that, and has also been a great place to make new friends. All of the instructor and staff are amazing!“

“I first did a trial class in May 2023 to get a preview of what a 45-minute class is like. I then made my debut in June 2023, and I have been improving myself ever since. I have Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Anxiety, and those disabilities don't stop me from accomplishing my goals when I attend two classes per week. All the instructors there are amazing, and they make you feel good after class. The best thing that I ever heard from the instructors was to eliminate distractions. The second you show up to class, you focus on your goals and forget what happened because nothing else matters other than putting in the work in class. Whenever I go to Tiger Schulmann's, I feel more confident and less anxious. Thank you to the amazing instructors who taught me self-confidence during class.“

“Spartak Sports Club has been teaching Judo and other Martial Arts in the Queens community since 1997. I was one of the first students of sensei Arkadiy. Sensei Arkadiy is amazingly talented coach. His dedication to students is delivered not only through his technical experiences, but also through a very unique ability of preparing young boys and girls to be emotionally, intellectually, and physically strong members of our community who become leaders and leave a very positive mark in our society. He produced countless successful athletes who have moved on in their professional world and became successful lawyers, doctors teachers, engineers and many more. As it is in every relationship, sometimes things do not work out, but there is no need to put faul blame and information out there. It is because of Sensei Arkadiy that I am able to have a dojo, teach students, and work as an international referee. It is unfortunate that a student felt they needed to leave this club and registered in my club, but ethically I cannot take in a student of my sensei without his blessing - it is the ethiquette. Naturally, I had to ask this student to not continue and refunded the money for the registration. Knowing sensei Arkadiy, I highly doubt that he might have acted inappropriately with a student. I can vouch for him anytime.“
