I was looking for a lash studio that didn't make my eyes uncomfortable, fall off too fast, and did not rush the process. Sica checked all of these boxes off and more! I came by the referral of a friend who swore by her, and got her lashes done often. Sica has a space downstairs of TokTok Beauty on 162nd Street. Parking is hard around this area, and you most likely will need to pay the meter, so be prepared to stay for 1.5-2 hours if you're getting a brand new set done. As I was getting prepared to get onto the bed, she took her time to ask me what my lash goals were and if I was comfortable. One of the things I love about Sica's is that she does not charge you number of pieces (check her price list on her Instagram prior to making your appointment). She advises that she will put on as much as she can based off of how many natural lashes you already have. What also stood out to me is that she cleans and preps your lashes as well as adds a waterproof bond at the end. Therefore, you can expect the lashes to hold at first application, and get them wet first day. Highly recommended!
