Clippers buzz in rhythm like background music, mixing with the low hum of conversation and laughter between barbers and regulars. You take a seat, greeted with a nod that says “we’ve got you.” The mirrors shine under warm light, rows of clippers and combs neatly lined up like tools of a craft passed from father to son.
I came in for a trim some layers and a blow dry . I was so amazed how my hair turned out . I was very scared to get layers because I’m the past I had really bad experience but I wanted a change . The owner Carmen the hairstylist was very sweet and professional and one thing about her I love she cares about hair just by the consultation I had with her . She told me I needed to cut certain parts because was very dry I trusted her and I loved the results , my hair turned out so nice . Loved the blow dry she only used the blow dry she only used the hair dryer but way my hair came out seemed like she used other tools . She’s amazing at what she does . I don't trust anyone with my hair, much less a woman (sorry ladies) however Carmen got it right the first time. I had come in once before and bounced around from barber to barber and they were all good but as I said before she got it done right. I showed her a picture if exactly what I wanted and it was as if she glued the picture in to my head. I've been coming here happily or over a year. I used to get my chops done in an overpriced joint in Greenpoint BK and the cuts were eh. For 12 bucks I get a 30 dollar cut. You can't beat that. Friendly staff. The shop isn't Tate I the art but the cuts are great. Staff is clean and keep their tools clean. You can't go wrong here
