Horrible communication I booked Alicia keys type cornrows, waist length I was told 150 for regular cornrows no stitch. When I got to the salon I was charged 30 extra dollars because my hair was thick then when they were braiding my ends I was told it was 20 extra dollars for waist length. They are money hungry. The ends of my braids looked old as soon as I left. My natural hair was sticking out. Don’t waste your time and money.

I had a great experience visiting this salon. I needed my hair done last minute. Amina was my braider that salon was nice and clean and she did her thing with my knotless braids. They were soooooo neat.

I booked my appointment online. I called the owner and decided to get small boho braids for 430. Due to an unfortunate even, I had to reschedule my appointment twice to a later hour in the day. The owner understood and made the change. I did call ahead of time and everything so we communicated. When I got there, the owner paired me with her beautician, her name starts with an F. ( idk how people feel about their names on the internet). Due to having to go to a funeral, I had to leave before actually completing my hair. The owner did advise that the shop finished the work in one sitting but due to my unfortunate event she understood. My hair was placed in a near bun. No one could tell it wasn’t done. When I went back to finish my hair. It was done in a short time. The beautician was very nice, entertaining, therapeutic. My hair session felt like therapy for the first time. When my hair was done it looked like it was as fresh as the first day. My hair doesn’t feel heavy or like it will break from the weight of the hair. My hair still looks full but doesn’t feel heavy. I really enjoyed my time and don’t mind spending the money for my hair. Great job.
Stylist: Ask for someone who’s name start with an F she’s a great beautician the owner will know who you’re talking about.

I booked an appointment at 9:00am on Tuesday, May 21,2024 to do a Knotless braid priced at $350 on website. On the day of the hair appointment, I arrived 5 minutes early for the said 9:00am appointment, however I was told that the braider thought the appointment was for 9:30am. Prior to this appointment it was confirmed through text and automated email my appointment for 9:00am. I kept calling at intervals to ask when the braider would be arriving, however the owner kept telling me that she was 15 minutes away. Instead of my hair appointment starting at 9:00am, it started at 10:05am. The braider, not the owner of the shop, was not even aware of what hairstyle I needed to be done, even though my online appointment precisely stated the hairstyle, cost, as well hair being provided by the braider. My hair appointment started at 10:05am and finished at 7:30pm (TOTALLING A WHOPPING 9 HOURS AND 30 MINUTES)!! 2 1/2 hours over the time it stated on the website. Not only that, the owner of the shop, stopped me while leaving and wanted to over-charge me asking me if I paid for the curls at the end of the braids, THERE WERE NO CURLING RODS ADDED TO THE TIP OF THE BRAID TO MAKE CURLS! THE ONLINE WEBSITE PICTURE CLEARLY STATED CURLS ARE ADDED AT THE BODY AND TIP OF KNOTLESS BRAID. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS SALON AGAIN. She also wanted to charge me more for my short hair EVEN THOUGH I TOLD HER THE LENGTH of my hair two days earlier AND ASKED IF SHE COULD DO IT, which would have been the most opportune time to let me know it was an extra cost for short hair.
