A visit to Helen Famulare Spa Rejuvenate is like a mini vacation. Her studio on Westchester Ave in Scotts Corners (Pound Ridge) is flooded with light, conveniently located, and offers plenty of easy, onsite parking. Only one patient is treated at a time, so you get Helen's undivided attention. She is extremely knowledgeable about aesthetic treatments thanks to her 25+ years experience as a master aesthetician, beauty expert, and licensed cosmetologist. I have recently tried three treatments: First, I had a microdermabrasion facial which was relaxing, cleansing, and rejuvenating--everything you want your facial to be! I followed that up one week later with one session of an anti-aging, "non-surgical facelift" that uses micro-currents to firm and tone facial muscles, reduce wrinkles, and stimulate cellular regeneration. My skin looked fabulous and I felt like the treatment erased a few years from my face for a few days. The idea with this treatment is to continue on a regular basis. Helen offers package deals for the series. If you want to look rejuvenated for your Zoom meetings, I highly recommend you try this treatment--keeping in mind that it is temporary. Great treatment to do before any holiday photos or professional headshots, too! Most recently, I tried the Infrared Body Treatment. Again, this is a treatment designed to be repeated regularly, and I have only experienced one session so far. The treatment involves Helen giving you a scrub body massage first, then wrapping you like a tortilla in an infrared sauna blanket which uses heat to help detoxify the body of unwanted chemicals and break up fatty tissue deposits. The goal is to get your heart beating faster to burn calories while you're wrapped up. Any opportunity to be massaged, wrapped up in a blanky, fall into a deep meditative state, and BURN CALORIES at the same time, is right up my alley. I can tell you it was a delightfully relaxing experience, but after one session, it's too early to tell if I burned extra calories. I'm totally up for another session, though!

Fabulous facial!! Helen does a customized approach--makes sure to fully assess you skin and what you need beyond the typical menu of facial services. Her one-on-one business model is health safe and she prioritizes her clients comfort and safety. Highly recommend!
