I had originally heard of Elva and The Blank Slate through an old coworker who posted her new tattoo on FB. I was in the market for a new piece as well as a new artist. Elva's style on my friend matched the exact style I was looking for. I already had pictures of reference and I emailed Elva per her site. Let me tell you, the fact that she got back to me within 24 hours was already a plus to me. She was professional and to the point on what she needed from me next. I came in to get a tribute piece for my parents done by Elva. From the consultation to the day I got tattooed, she has always been in constant contact with me. Even when it was supposed to snow on the day of the appointment, she made sure to message me the day before so if need be I can make accommodations. She is absolutely understanding and her art is amazing. My experience in the shop is absolutely wonderful for an introvert such as myself. Elva is so funny and down to earth. Love talking to her when I’m getting my tattoo. And the atmosphere is very welcoming :)
