“Each time my husband and I walk into Optique Elegance we are reminded of how pleasant an experience one can have in selecting eye frames.Brion Shapiro is a skilled optician with an artistic eye, which is enormously helpful in the process of finding the perfect frame.Recently, I unfortunately sat on a pair of glasses, totally compromising their fit. It was on a Sunday morning of a holiday weekend. Panicked, I called Optique Elegance expecting to have to wait until the store was scheduled to open on Wednesday morning. Miraculously, Brion called me back, and by Sunday afternoon, my glasses were restored. As always , Brion was kind and skillful during the lengthy time it took to unravel my very misshapen glasses.I reminded him that years ago he rescued me, when my glasses were stolen while on vacation in Costa Rica.I feel very fortunate to know that dedicated practitioners, like Brion Shapiro still exist in today's world, and Optique Elegance is here in the Hudson Valley.“

“First time in the store (Poughkeepsie). Good experience they took their time. But there was one older lady dark hair glasses not very personal. Seems like she didn’t want to be there or have anyone bother her. Just very short and attitude with you. All others were great.“

“Dr. K and the staff were great! I was skeptical at first because I've not had great experiences at other optical offices in malls but this was a great experience. Dr. K was very thorough and listened to me and offered solutions to some of the issues I've experienced with glasses and contact lenses in the past. Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful, from the people at the front desk to the young man who did the preliminary exam. I wouldn't hesitate to go back and to recommend them!“

“Love that everyone is wearing a mask and they are cleaning high touch surfaces and frames between client use. The doctor and the woman who assisted me with finding glasses couldn't have been nicer. They provided me with a tray to keep glasses I liked and glasses I tried but didn't like ( so they could clean). They helped me choose glasses that were accepted by my plan and I only had to pay for the antireflective upgrade and received two pairs of glasses under my plan. So now I have a backup! I cannot believe I only paid for an upgrade, usually I'm out hundreds when I go to the mall to get my glasses and that is with my plan and AAA discount. I really enjoyed my experience here and will definitely go again. You must make an appt due to COVID and they are really booked, so plan ahead.“
