“I have been in the service industry for 5 decades as an Automobile dealer. I seldom endorse or write reviews as time constraints dictate the day. This company has my attention and therefore I decided this morning to acknowledge them. We had a leaking issue with the chimney that has not been able to be fixed by three different companies over the last few years. So, I called five personal friends and Clearview Roofing came up four times as one of the best roofing companies serving Long Island. I spoke to Andrew who directed Eric Levy to contact me for an estimate. Within 5 minutes, Eric reached out. I explained my issues and he said. "How is tomorrow I will come and inspect the roof and chimney and get this handled for you. I can be there by noon. Wonderful, a man who is on the job and willing to solve my issues with a courteous and friendly phone call. Next afternoon Eric appeared and like Santa went up the ladder and in 5 minutes explained the issue and remedies. The price he quoted was extremely fair and I said when can we get this done. He said how about tomorrow, I will have a crew here between 8 and 9. I said that fast and he said "we are that big and we have crews throughout the Island". I said great, let's do it! 8.45 the next morning Clearview rolled up the driveway with their truck and two of the nicest men greeted me with a smile and handshake. The head honcho explained what they were going to do, and it would take approximately 5 hours, and they were ready to start. I had errands to run, stopping back every hour or so and he would come down the ladder and explain what they found and what they were doing to properly fix this once and for all. I was floored to the attention to every detail and the friendly attitude of both men. As lunch time rolled around I told them lunch is on me and got them great sandwiches, sodas and desert. They were beyond appreciative. At 2.30 they were done had all the pictures in hand and it was a work of art in installing the copper flashing and finish work. i was blown away to every detail. They cleaned up every last speak of dirt and said if you need anything we are a phone call away. If you need roofing work, chimney work this is the company to call. It was just the most pleasurable experience. Thank you, Eric, Andrew and your crew.“

“Under the leadership of Greg and Linda, we now have two beautiful, expertly crafted bathrooms thanks to the skill, knowledge, honesty and integrity of the people at Northern Contracting.
After a couple of initial meetings, Greg developed a comprehensive contract that reflected our vision for the outcome we wanted, and that had the specifics of the job spelled out and with a timeline once the work was to start. The work was completed within the proposed timeline and the contract required minimal changes, which means that the proposed cost for the job was accurate.
The workers who did the actual gutting and renovation, kept to a daily schedule, were polite, non-intrusive, hard-working, knowledgeable, trustworthy and cleaned up at the end of each day. The foreman gave us frequent progress reports and discussed with us any decisions that had to be made. The subcontractors (electrical and plumbing) also came when scheduled and performed their work skillfully.
The office staff (generally Patty) were always available by phone. They answered questions, gave referral of vendors, worked with our town to obtain the necessary permit and helped when there were questions that required immediate attention from the foreman or Greg.
We had a superior experience with Northern Contracting and would use them for our next renovation! The bathrooms turned out better than we had thought was possible.“
