My 8 bridesmaids, mother, aunt and now mother-in-in law all got services so it was a big party of people they handled flawlessly! “First time visit to this salon. I really needed someone to 'fix' my hair and get me on the right track. I didn't have to wait too long to get an appointment, for which I was grateful. Upon my arrival I met with Joanie. She wanted to see my hair dry and know what I liked and didn't like about the present cut. How awesome to have a stylist really evaluate my hair. It's condition, what was going on, what was needed and doable with the style I wanted. Shannon washed my hair and it was like massage therapy. Joanie gave me an awesome cut, explaining and educating as it was being done. She checked in with me as she was cutting to make sure all was going well. I love my haircut ; its easy to blow out and looks great. I'll be back to Shear Extacy.“

“Carissa is a true artist & a lovely person. She made me feel welcome right away in her cozy, stylish, & immaculate studio. During the consultation process,she demonstrated a facsimile of a different technique on each eyebrow so I could decide which was right for me.I decided to go with the ‘hairstroke’ or nanobrow technique [she is the only practitioner on the island to offer this at the time of writing]. She had a cancellation, so we did the procedure right then & there!The nanbrow technique was the right choice for me, as I wanted hyperrealistic brows. I am more in love with my results than I can describe. She recreated my old brows with stunning accuracy so I still feel like myself— but brighter & more confident.She sent me home with care instructions, product, & a little treat in a goodie bag— such a thoughtful touch— & checked in after the procedure.
