After repeated visits to our regular vet., and Bear still scratching and keeping me up at night, I decided I needed to do some homework and see if there was such thing as a veterinary dermatologist, and guess what, there is, that would be Dr. Jeanne Budgin, on the upper west side, not to far from Bear and me. I have to tell everyone how happy we are that we saw Dr. Budgin and her dedicated, wonderful team, so informative, and kind, they took such a detailed history about Bear! After a few tests, and some medication for Bear, I'm actually sleeping at night! Bear's happier too, not scratching all of the time. Bear and I thank you! Dr. Budgin and her team are awesome, I highly recommend them.“

“I had a great experience with the staff at Greenwich Animal Hospital. I was dog sitting my daughter’s dog and he needed to go back to the vet at Greenwich Hospital to have his ears repacked. Sonny is quite a large dog. Once I arrived, I called in and Vitally came out and helped me get Sonny out of the car. He let Son stopped and smell the roses and then took him right in and took care of his ears. While I waited, the front desk, girl was amazingly personable. Once Vitally brought Sonny back out of the room, he helped me put him back in the car. I was eternally grateful. It was such a smooth transition from one step to another. The place is immaculate. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Thank you for that.“

“Had a very good visit with Dr bardari. My dog had some very vague symptoms and the dr came to a very likely diagnosis of low grade pancreatitis. She made him more comfortable with fluids and an anti nausea meds and he is back to himself.“

“We have been taking our rescue pups to Bull's Head since we moved to the Stamford area ten years ago. They have been amazing and responsive to each of them, through to the end of their lives. This latest review, I am writing to express my heartfelt thanks to the veterinarians and staff at Bull's Head for being so incredibly responsive to our needs for our pup Buffy. They gave us treatment options and then, ultimately, provided us with responsive and loving care for her end of life. They were supportive and - I cannot stress this enough - incredibly responsive. We will *of course!* continue our care there with our rescue pup Cooper, and will continue to use Bull's Head for all of our pets. Nolan Zeide, who came out to us to help with Buffy, was caring, patient, and everything was exactly how she and we needed to do this last gift to Buffy as her human parents. “Dr Barotz is a real find. She is the best of both worlds; a Cornell Vet school graduate and extremely knowledgeable in a Chinese medicine approach. She believes in both, each complimenting and supporting the other. That's what I wanted and need for my best friend and little boy, Trooper. On top of that, she is happy to work with a patients' regular Vet and studies their medical records thoroughly. She has a gentle, caring manner and spends the time to fully explain her analysis, opinions and reasons for her recommendations. Dr Barotz has a 360 degree approach and the education, knowledge and experience to carry it out. I am so very happy to have her at our side through what is a very tough time. My Trooper has liver cancer. Thanks to her, I have a much better understanding of how I can give Trooper's body more support and comfort, as well as other options I might have for his care. I wish I had known her when I first adopted Trooper 11 years ago, through sickness AND health. I think we can take better care of our little friends with her full approach.“

“This is a very kind and casual vet. Really lovely people front to back. The only downside is how busy they stay. This is at least partly because they always give you the time and attention that you and your pet need when they're with you. But they do a great job of managing the chaos and getting to everyone eventually. They so clearly love your pets too.“

“My cat was neutered here three days ago. When I saw him just four hours after the procedure, his behavior and appearance were the same as before I dropped him off. I also brought 4 other furry friends here for routine visits, and they all seem to approve. The staff is courteous, compassionate and competent. I highly recommend this facility.“

“Absolutely the best.Let me start by saying that I’m a crazy person who treats my dog like a human baby. I love her more than anything in the world. She also has terrible teeth, common to her micro-breed. (Little dogs = little teeth = tiniest bit of decay can destroy a tooth in a blink.)Dr. Surgeon and his assistant Maria are AMAZING. The office is small and intimate and so welcoming and warm. The technology they use is state of the art and the doctor even showed me how the various imagining machines worked, and he explained in detail what he saw and what he did. He was so kind and thorough and honestly— I didn’t think they made doctors like this anymore. He’s like someone from a totally different era; so wise and decent. He told me “I still do this because I love the animals” and that’s clearly true.Maria was also so warm and loving to my little dog and I could tell my pup felt truly comfortable and at ease with her. I was so nervous about having my dog’s teeth dealt with but Dr. Surgeon and Maria honestly could not have done more to put my mind completely at ease.DO NOT HESITATE to bring your dog here. And please note, anyone who has left a bad review (go ahead and read them) is complaining solely about money. Well; no, it’s not cheap to have your animal go under anesthesia and have complicated surgical procedures performed. That’s why there’s pet insurance. I’m sorry if it’s going to cost you a lot, but that’s not a reason to blast a truly gifted and deeply caring doctor. No one can possibly have anything bad to say about how their animal was treated here, because it’s impossible to imagine Maria and Dr. Surgeon reacting to any creature with anything less than total professionalism and love. So glad I found them and so happy to be able to return for cleanings in the future.“

“I changed from Yorktown Animal Hospital to Thornwood Animal Hospital due to the distance from my home, and it has proven to be the best choice for my pup. Dr. Patel and the staff are fantastic, caring, and always create a positive atmosphere. My dog usually gets anxious at the vet, but here he appears to be at ease and even enjoys the visits. The level of professional care is exceptional. When my pup fell ill, Dr. Patel personally called me with the analysis results and has consistently been available when needed.
