“I have a need to tell those of you who may be sitting on the edge as to whether or not to try acupuncture. I was one until I met Myung a few months back. Some time in May ‘24 I believe, I slipped and fell injuring a nerve in my lower back. It felt like I crushed it. I went to the emergency room and was told to get I touch with my pain management doctor. Let’s skip my reaction to that. I was given 3 names by my provider in seeking acupuncture treatment as little was helping. Myung’s name stood out so I gave him a call. It’s now the end of Aug. I believe I started seeing him twice a week in June. At that time I was on a scale of 1-10, at a level of 15. I have a different threshold towards pain due to an accident a decade before. He could tell I was over my pain tolerance level. I see him now once a week with the best results I could have ever experienced. I have very little to no lightning strikes of pain at the level I was at when we first met. I can actually sit in my car without my prescribed back brace. And today, I was actually able to lift boxes I have been packing as I am moving in a few weeks. I never thought I was going to reach the place of no pain until after I had moved and completely unpacked. Being I have a low back disability, now with arthritis, this, how I feel today, walking without being stiff and needing a cane or my back brace .. amazes me. I wouldn’t be feeling this freedom with out his expertise. He knows his nerves lol and yes, he got on them and he put them to sleep long enough for them to heal!! One visit isn’t going to do it, but give him a try and give him a couple weeks, rest in between as he suggests. He knows what he’s doing and does it well!!
