This barbershop was amazing! They were closed for the 4th of July but opened up for me, a first time customer. Very friendly and professional! Highly recommend if you are in the Plattsburgh area.

This barber shop doesn't accept appointments, its first come first serve. Adult haircut is $20.00, Seniors price was less. Price list is near the register. Stopped midweek of June 2025 @ 10:30, 5 chairs with 2 barbers working. 1 person was ahead of me. After 10 or so minutes, Donna asked me to sit in the chair & I asked for a brush cut with a # 4 guide all over. Donna & I talked while she cut, she asked how I liked the cut & could she do anything more. hair cut was well done & I was finished by 11 a.m.

Joe’s Barbershop is the kind of place you don’t see much anymore — local, welcoming, and full of personality. I’ve been there a few times now, and every visit feels more like catching up with friends than just getting a haircut.

Donna does a great job, and Jared? He’s one of a kind. Straight-up, honest, funny, and actually gives a damn about this town and the people in it. He keeps things real, and if more folks around here had his attitude, Plattsburgh would be a way better place to live.

As for the bad reviews, take them with a grain of salt. I’d bet anything those people either didn’t communicate what they wanted or didn’t bother to make...read full review
