As a first-time patient at Lenox Radiology/Plainview, NY, I was extremely pleased with the ease of parking, the clean, comfortable facility, the professionalism of each staff member I interacted with, and how quickly I was ushered in for my Xrays following my arrival and sign-in. However, if you need to have your test results shared with your doctors, I very strongly suggest that you come equipped with the contact specifics for any of your docs who need the test results. I didn't have contact info for one of my two docs and just spent nearly an hour on the phone, one voice menu without any appropriate choices afrter another with no appropriate choices. The staff is AMAZING!!!! Starting from Check in, filling out forms until I walked out the door. I’m always nervous going for MRI, SONOGRAMS, ULTRASOUND ECT… All of the Technicians were Professional, Friendly and very kind. Thank God for the Lenox Hill Radiology Staff located in Plainview who cares about their patients!!??
Simply outstanding patient care from the front desk to the back office and the MRI tech. They put me at ease, very important as I have severe claustrophobia, and the test was a breeze. I cannot say enough good things about my experience.
UPDATE: I needed a follow up MRI as a result of my dog pulling my injured shoulder. Lenox Hill Radiology and their MRI tech, Sue, continue to be the best in the business and remembered my claustrophobia from my prior scan and walked me through every picture letting me know how long each would take. That, along with soothing country music piped-in to the headphones helped ease my anxiety.
