After taking my dream wedding dress to another tailor to be fitted, I left in tears. My dress was cut up, misshapen, and disappointing. In just a few days he was able to fit and bustle my dream gown and make it so that my day could be beautiful. “Short story: Larisa is incredible and goes above and beyond. She took a dress that was over 6 sizes to big and altered it to fit me like a glove.

Long story: I live out of state but got my dress and got married in Rochester. I was in town 5 months before my wedding and wasn't going to be back in town until the week of our wedding. I was nervous to buy a dress off the rack since it would need a lot of alterations to fit me properly. I found a dress I liked but it was over 6 sizes too big! The bridal shop I was at recommended Larisa and called her on FaceTime to discuss the alterations needed. Larisa met me in person at the shop the next day to make sure she could execute. My mom and I met her at her shop shortly after so she could take my measurements and pin the dress. My mom dropped some fabric off to Larisa because I wanted to add a liner down the back since the lace back was sheer. I was back in town 5 days before my wedding. Larisa did a final fitting with me that week and did an incredible job - this thing fit me perfectly! Larisa is a sweetheart and a joy to work with. I am so grateful I trusted Larisa when she said she could make the dress work. Larisa, you're the best, thank you!!“

“I brought curtains in to be shortened. It was a big job, 16 panels. Turnaround was approximately 2 weeks, however it was over the holidays and I was not in a rush. Prices were very reasonable. We received everything neatly folded and boxed. The curtain panels measured exactly what I had specified. They did a great job and you can't even tell that they have been altered. The only reason that I am giving 4 stars vs 5 stars is because they only accept cash payment, no credit card, which can be inconvenient for some people.“

They have many customers so you have to give them time, but if you need it for a particular date ask and they will accommodate you. “I can’t say enough about the customer service. We had a fire and water damage to our condo. They came and picked up clothing and shoes. They completed the work in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, some items were lost. They made every effort to locate those items, and when they couldn’t, they issued a check for the replacement of those items, without any question. Working directly with the owners was a real benefit in dealing with speedy. I would highly recommend this business.“
