Soul Fire Farm is a BIPOC-centered community farm committed to ending racism and injustice in the food system. They raise and distribute life-giving food as a means to end food apartheid. With deep reverence for the land and wisdom of their ancestors, they work to reclaim the collective right to belong to the earth and have agency in the food system. The farm brings diverse communities together on this healing land to share skills on sustainable agriculture, natural building, spiritual activism, health, and environmental justice. They are training the next generation of activist-farmers and strengthening the movements for food sovereignty and community self-determination. Visitors describe the land, structures, and people at Soul Fire Farm as beautiful. They have enjoyed attending past Winter and Summer Solstice events, which offered opportunities to meet people, dance, enjoy food vendors, and find quiet spaces for yoga, meditation, or simply sitting near the pond and trees. The farm is described as a wonderful community where people share space and energy. Visitors are looking forward to attending upcoming herbal remedies courses held at the farm.
