I just had my last follow-up for my cataract surgery on both eyes (two weeks apart). The difference in my eyesight is phenomenal! I no longer need glasses after 62 years of wearing them. My lenses were corrected for distance so I still need reading glasses on occasion yet the difference in not wearing glasses full time is worth the minor inconvenience. Dr. Simmons did my surgery and I am thoroughly impressed with his talent and willingness to answer any and all questions I had about my surgery. I can’t thank him enough! I know of other surgeons in the area who have done the surgery for family and friends who haven’t had these same results. I was apprehensive about the first surgery and anxious to get the second surgery when the first went so well. Not only am I impressed with Dr. Simmons, the rest of the staff is very professional, friendly and efficient. Everything considered, I am extremely satisfied with my experiences at the Southtowns Eye Center. Thank you!
The doctors are very friendly and don’t make you feel like your questions are too much. They take their time with patients and make then feel very comfortable. They are very knowledgeable and give answers in ways that are very relatable and understandable. Highly recommend.
