“First some background...My teenage daughter is the one who got her hair done. We were in a vicious cycle of taking her to get her hair done, paying LOTS just to have it not come out anything like what she requested. So then we would go home and try to fix it with box dye, which is what was making it not turn out in the first place. Then next time go through the same thing at a different place bc "she doesn't want to go back to the ones who couldn't fix it before" (box dyes fault, not the salons) Again, vicious cycle....but she's a teen so....<br>Now she is adamant she wants to go to the newest place she has heard of thinking she will get a different result. So this is how we ended up at Aquaria.<br>I booked online and added a note with some details so they knew this isn't going to be as simple as the selection I chose. I was fully aware it would be more time and $ than what the booking quoted.<br>When we got there Sam asked LOTS of relevant questions and really wanted to understand what she was working with. Before she even got started, she came right out and explained to my daughter that she would not be able to get her as light as she wanted but she would do her best to get her evened out and as light as possible and gave us the actual cost and asked if we wanted to proceed. I loved that she was up front about everything!! It was also helpful that she explained the issues with the box dye so hopefully now we're done with that.<br>Sam did not rush through and/or settle! She spent all afternoon working on her to get it right. The appointment was very long and I felt really bad for taking up that much time but not once did I feel like Sam was rushing or trying to get us out the door.<br><br>Overall my review would be that Aquaria may be a little more pricey than some, but they are upfront about it. I absolutely trust their products and knowledge. We had a great experience and my daughter left happy!“
