“This place is absolutely fantastic. Today, I was feverishly looking for someone who can do same day alterations to a new suit that i needed for tomorrow. First off, their sewing machine was broken, so they called in a favor from a friend. Not sure if they borrowed a machine or if the friend did the work - but either way, they found a way to get it done. BUT it doesn't stop there.It was 10:30am and I had to leave for work by 1pm. They were not going to be done until around 4:30, giving me no shot at picking it up (and tomorrow is Sunday!) Seeing how much I was in need of getting this suit done and back, they offered to drop it off at my house for me! I don't know if this is a typical service they provide, but they knew I needed help and they were there. She said to me "I can tell you need some help, so we'll take care of you!" The suits fitted so much better and the stitching was flawless.I have had a few blouses to have dry cleaned. The owners noticed a cluster of small oil stains I had and took the time to clean it out. I honestly didn’t think they’d come out so I left it, but they were able to get it out.I also appreciate that they have organic dry cleaning. “New to the area and was in search of a new dry cleaner. Van Tassel was convenient, cost effective and great work. I got 4 items dry cleaned, a jumpsuit, skirt and 2 shirts. Came out to about $44, not bad! Also was done within the week if you need a quick turnaround. I also had a pair of pants taken in at the wait, almost a whole size smaller. The seamstress did a great job and the pants are like new! Would definitely recommend her if you need anything adjusted. Overall, would definitely recommend for your dry cleaning or alternation needs.“
