Th Optical Shop of Nyack is the best shop to go to for eye glasses and unique gifts. Meg, the owner, is so knowledgeable about assisting the customer in eye frame selection, lenses and fit. She is most patient and passionate about fitting you correctly and comfortably. I have been shopping at this wonderful optical store for over 30 years.
Meg is assisted by Sherri who is also most helpful, kind and knowledgeable! I don’t know where I’d be for eyeglass selection and compassionate eye glass care without Meg, Sherri and Optical Shop of Nyack!

I went to the Optical Shop for an eye exam and was very happy with my experience. Dr.Emily Aristizabal's eye exam was extremely thorough; the equipment modern, the office very clean and welcoming. She spent close to an hour for the exam, explaining each part and the reasons for it. Issues such glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye and visual acuity were addressed.
As a doctor myself I appreciated her clinical skills and ability to explain her findings in clear terms. Cannot recommend her and the Optical hop of Nyack enough!
