He is caring, thoughtful, skillful, fun, and tough all at the same time, which is a rare combination. He has a contagious love for jiu-jitsu and the innate ability to teach. My son also loves going to train. He has learning valuable skills (on and off the mat), has gained confidence and has fun. Professor Shapiro not only teaches valuable skills but also makes the classes fun and engaging. All and all, my family feels very lucky we found 5150 and recommended it to everyone.“

Sensei Eric is extremely talented at keeping a group of 5 year olds engaged and interested the whole time. “I have practiced kumdo off and on for a few years at different locations, including in Korea. Of all the Masters who has taught me, Master Min is by far the best. Not only does he (and Master Lee) stress fundamentals of kumdo, which can easily be translated into any phases of life, but also - and more importantly - takes time to explain why. He and Master Lee are very knowledgeable and very personable.Although my current schedule doesn't allow me to practice now, I recently enrolled my two kids and have been very happy with this decision. My son, in particular, within a short period of time, has gained self-confidence. Martial arts can be monotonous at times, especially for kids.
