Great place to learn a mix of practical self defense and traditional martial arts, I did taekwondo but instructors incorporating Sambo techniques and knife/gun self defense was great aswell.

I have been attending Sambo classes about 2.5 years now. I came in with absolutely no previous grappling experience. Over these two years I have gained much confidence in myself through this program. It teaches you practical self defense while also gives you the freedom to develop a strong grappling skill set with where your strengths lie. Sambo instructor Prescott does a great job explaining the techniques and takes the time to make sure you understand what is going on every class, he really cares and attends to his students.
