I am deeply disappointed with how my family was treated by Dr.DeRose. Recently, my mother and siblings were dropped as patients because she had previously contracted covid. Despite following the necessary protocols and calling to reschedule, that did not seem to be enough and was dropped after going to this office for over a decade! What makes this even more upsetting is that not even a month before I was in the waiting room for 30 minutes, only to be told I had to reschedule due to an emergency. I did not complain- I know stuff happens especially in healthcare, I am a pharmacy school student and my mother also works in healthcare. However, when it came time for them to show understanding and empathy toward us, my family was dismissed without consideration. As a healthcare worker and future professional myself, it is disheartening to see how long term loyal patients are treated here, and I therefore cannot recommend a place like this. I understand how changes in scheduling for an office can be hard, but this decision felt extreme. Nothing will change about their office policy from my review, but hopefully as an incoming patient you take our situation into consideration!

I have never had a worse experience trying to make a new patient appointment. The receptionist was extremely curt turning into rude. And gave me false information about my ability to be seen there due to my insurance (absolutely bonkers). I then told her thank you very much and she made my option to NOT become a patient there so incredibly easy. Beware, they don't have the best reviews and my own experience with them backed them up.

Dr. Devantier is truly amazing. Best dentist anyone could ever ask for, and I'm a total baby when it comes to my teeth! She's very very professional and obviously knows her stuff, but on a personal note she's also very kind, caring, and empathic. I'd recommend her to ANYONE. I used to work in Niagara Falls and would go to her right after work; it would take me only 5 minutes to get to her office. Then 20 years ago I went to work in Amherst (and moved there too), and now it takes me almost 30 minutes to get to her office - but she's so worth it! I'd drive an hour to go to her.
