The best! I travel to NYC from California to have her cut my hair. Her haircuts get longer but they never "grow out" and lose their shape. My fine, straight hair is now short (for the first time successfully). Her "texturizing" is magic as is her layering. Ni blowdrying, no nothing! Just run a brush through it and fluff it with my hands!! Pricy? Yes. But worth every penny. I'd cut out Starbucks and Whole Foods before I'd give to Younghee!!

Younghee is the OG and the best. I trusted only Younghee with my hair for 15 years until I moved away and I miss her terribly! She is talented, kind and truly cares about her clients. Try her "Essential Rinse" - it clears away buildup, feels refreshing, smells amazing and leaves your hair shiny and healthy!

Younghee Salon founder Younghee Kim began her illustrious hair styling career over thirty years ago under the tutelage of Vidal Sassoon, spending twelve years directing the VS vision as their New York City Creative Director. Younghee has also styled hair for a multitude of international television commercials, editorial shoots, and fashion shows over the last two decades, before opening her headquarters at the namesake Younghee Salon in Manhattan in the year 2000. Younghee also works with an exclusive group of international clients in Europe and Asia. The Salon is well-known for modern, low-maintenance haircuts that reflect the individual styles of their clientele.
