The gym itself is a great space and overall very friendly environment. If you're looking for a true new yorker training experience, Eve Josephson will give your buns a workout, while discussing your favorite pastry/dessert shops and photos of your pets.“

115 W 27th St 3rd floor, New York“This year, I've had the pleasure of visiting Hot Yoga Chelsea several times, and even though it's a 40-50 minute commute, it's 1000% worth it. I only wish I could go more often! As someone relatively new to yoga, I really appreciate how warm and welcoming the staff is, and all the instructors are so supportive. I have a knee injury, and they always offer helpful adjustments to accommodate my needs. The studio is also spotlessly clean. I highly recommend Hot Yoga Chelsea to anyone looking for a friendly, motivating environment that suits all skill levels!“

1 W 34th St. # 204, New York“About a year ago, I started dealing with chronic pain most likely stemming from over lifting in the gym. After multiple failed attempts trying to find an LMT who could alleviate tension and partner with me to rehab and strengthen problem areas, I am so lucky to have found Chasi at Body Mechanics.
Chasi has made a huge difference in my recovery. She is very talented and comes to every session with a POV of what we want to work on based on how my body has reacted in recent session.
I highly recommend giving her a visit, whether it be for an acute injury/pain, or just for a great massage!“

Yoga practice that is not rushed, gives you time to connect to your body but at the same time intense and makes you really move and sweat and release and stretch. Yoga teachers know what they are doing. The whole community they created comes from a giving place.“

1164 3rd Ave, New York“Best boutique fitness studio in this neighborhood - highly recommend! Convenient location, easy registration and check-in, modern interior decor with beautiful natural light flooding the studio, high-end finishes and most importantly: an all-star crew of instructors and staff! This studio offers a perfectly balanced curriculum and the members can choose from a variety of barre, dance/cardio and yoga classes throughout the day. Great little hidden gem in the UES! I started trying it out with their first-timer promotion for two weeks and have been addicted ever since! As a hardcore barre practitioner, I’ve frequented all major studios all over Manhattan and this one definitely tops my list! You’ll be noticeably lighter, leaner and stronger after just a couple of classes - amazing results!“

30 E 60th St Suite 206, New York“Central Park Physical Therapy is an outstanding physical therapy practice. They don't just help resolve your pain/issue, they spend the time to understand the root cause and give you exercises so the pain doesn't come back. I've had various issues over many years but have never had to get physical therapy for the same problem - just fabulous. Also the practice has convenient hours so you can go before work or after. I can't recommend Central Park Physical Therapy enough - their knowledge, their approach and their support are just great.“

138 5th Ave Second Floor, New York“I started seeing Mike Hood at NYPT several years ago after recovering from surgery on my lower back. I wanted to start lifting again but I needed to be careful to not hurt myself after the surgery. Mike helped find the perfect balance between a safe and low impact routine that still led to noticeable results in strength and physique. Also, the space and the people at NYPT are so welcoming and kind I look forward to going there weekly for my training sessions. I’d recommend Mike Hood and NYPT to anyone looking to level up their fitness routine!“

303 5th Ave, New York“I have been practicing Tantra with Michiko for a year now and I can say honestly that she changed my life. I met her just googling Tantra as I was going through a burnout and a life crisis. She has since been my teacher and my beacon in this healing and soul searching journey. She has guided me through generational trauma, mental and physical health, a sexual awakening, love relationships and most importantly the love relationship with myself. The best way I can describe Michiko is a mix between a fairy godmother, spiritual master, and a samurai. She has taught me exercises and routines specifically tailored for what was afflicting me and for my needs that have made tremendous difference in my body and mental health. The work I have done with Michiko has helped me more than years of therapy. I recommend her whole-heartedly no matter what you are going through.“

118-122 Baxter St suite 501, New York“Emily Grace is the best acupuncturist I've seen in a really long time. I had been looking for a new acupuncturist who is covid-safety conscious, disability justice centered, and trauma informed. Emily Grace was recommended to me by a peer, and I am so beyond grateful to have found Emily's practice. Even prior to booking an appointment Emily very generously and kindly explained to me all of her care protocols, including her trauma informed care approaches which is extremely important to me due to my medical history. Emily also ensured I would be involved in every step of the treatment process, making the experience truly collaborative. Emily took an incredible amount of time and patience to meet all of my needs/accommodations which included thorough communication and check-in points for every needle placement; temperature regulation and air circulation of the room; masking; as well as tending to my sensory sensitivity issues. I am so very grateful for Emily and being able to return to the practice of acupuncture. Please pay her a visit! Just being in her presence is a true gift and testament to community care. Thank you Emily. <3“
