This is my third time coming to Weill Hall. Past two experiences were excellent. Staff were courteous. But there's always one bad seed. Ticket booth was fine. The lady scanned my ticket even reminded me they are now playing the second performance since I was 5 min late. When I got up to 4/F, there was no one standing at the white double door. So I proceeded to reach out to the handles. Then someone yelled from 50 feet away: ' EXCUSE ME! '. It was a young man staff sitting on a comfortable chair 50 ft away. He was screaming over, not bothering to get up. He said I have to wait. Then he went back to playing on his phone and shaking and crossing his leg at the same time. I have no problem waiting for between performances. It was my fault that I was late. But isn't that his job to stand at the door instead of sitting 50 ft away yelling at audiences? It was only 5 minutes into the recital. He should be expecting people still coming. Today's experience was very disappointing. Other staff was nice and friendly.
