My husband needed a cortisone shot for a poison ivy rash that suddenly appeared. We fortunately called first to make sure he could get a shot (past experience showed topical creams weren't going to help). A call to another urgent care practice showed they couldn't give such a shot but Dr. Primas could.

Dr. Primas was able to help me when my regular Dr. had missed something. I had referred hotel guests to him for years and he was always amazing. Thorough, caring, always came back to check on them would call me to see how the guest was feeling. I was sick on a weekend and could not see my own Dr. and Dr. Primas had hours to see patients. He spent time with me, reviewed my entire health not just my immediate symptoms, referred me on to another Dr. and followed up with them to see how I was doing. More impressively, I once had a guest that had hit his head and ended up in the hospital for observation. Dr. Primas immediately was on the phone with the guests wife telling her what was going on and followed up with calls to the patient in California and to the guests Dr. in California long after he had left New York. He is a special Doctor.
