Truman's is the best haircut place for guys in Manhattan and the stylist you want is Miyuki. Both my son and I have been clients for about five years and wouldn't think of going to anyone else. Miyuki is both professional and creative and very skilled. Superb attention to detail and always on time! Highly recommended!

Just getting a summer haircut at Truman's, been getting my hair cut here for over five years, not inexpensive but definitely worth it. Tomaz who has been cutting my hair always takes the time to listen to what I'm looking for in a haircut that session. Never rushed. The entire staff, the receptionist desk, Georgia and Matt are friendly and professional as well as the people talking care of the precut shampoo and rinse. The salon is really chill with a good selection of magazines and they always offer ice water or drinks if you want.

Ask for Miho. She's been cutting my hair for years and unless I leave NYC, I'll keep coming to her. She's friendly, patient, and very attentive to detail. She never rushes the cut no matter how picky you are. Most barbers struggle with Asian hair, but she does an amazing job with my thick hair. (I also have 3 cowlicks, 2 on the crown). My girlfriend likes making fun of my cowlick but after I get my fresh cut, she can't keep her hands off it.
