We would have been lost without TBM being there to help Kodi and our family. The entire team has been like an extension of our family and they have been there to support us in good times and bad. Time and time again, they have been there to help us. When we had a medical emergency that sent us back to the hospital for an extended stay 2 weeks after the birth of our son, we didn't know what to do to take care of Kodi on such short notice. I quick call to Kara, and TBM sprang into action and took care of him - not only walking him, but taking him out at the end of the night to do a last outside break, filling up his food and water and just giving him the love he needs. This freed us up so that we could take care of the human portion of our family. The entirety of TBM is made up of truly wonderful people, with the biggest hearts for the people and the pets that make up all of our families.
TBM came to us highly recommended by a friend and from our first phone conversation with Kara, we knew that she would be our biggest asset in transitioning our little Shortcake from farm to big city life. Since then, Kara has proved us completely right, providing personalized and thoughtful guidance on everything from getting ready for our puppy's arrival, to crate training, to paying special attention to teaching her how to walk properly on leash - not an easy feat for a stubborn mini doxie. Kara and her team are professional, responsible, and responsive, and care for Shorty as their own, going above and beyond for our girl. So much so that when we decided to move to San Francisco, Kara made the decision to follow our Shorty to the west coast and launch TBMSF. We feel so fortunate to have found TBM and wouldn't recommend owning a dog in NYC or SF without them!
I cannot say enough great things about TBM. It's clear that Kara's (the owner) attention to detail and care for all pups trickles down throughout the company. If you're looking for a high touch, personal experience, The Barking Meter is where it's at. Their meticulously trained walkers are always on, extremely professional, and trustworthy. I think the biggest problem I've had with walking companies in the past is the trust factor. They're extremely transparent and if there's any issue, you're the first to know. They show up when they're supposed to (imagine that) and not with a pack of 10 other dogs. The pups get one-on-one attention, which is huge. Kara is also an experienced dog trainer and has instilled her method in all of her employees. Not only are the pups getting their daily walks but they're being trained consistently in the process. Bigger bang for your buck!
