Dr. Seckin and team were absolutely amazing, and performed highly skilled complex surgery for me. It was a life changing positive experience and I promise he is worth it.

Dr. Seckin, Dr. Chu, and their entire practice gave me my life back and I can't recommend them enough! I struggled with significant pain, abnormal bleeding, hormonal imbalances, and cysts for as long as I can remember. My first surgery took place in November 2011 – two months after my wedding day. I had been in an out of the emergency room at least three times and was dismissed by medical staff repeatedly. I was felt patronized, talked down to, and unheard. I was called “honey” and “sweetie” and told it was “normal to have cramps”, despite the significant medical concerns I was experiencing. A day after leaving the ER with ibuprofen and no follow-up care, a hemorrhagic cyst burst on my left ovary, causing peritonitis, as well as other medical issues. I ended up losing half an ovary that day and was fortunate that was all. We later realized this was a chocolate cyst and was followed by many more cysts and pain to come. I had three c-sections from 2012-2018, and with every pregnancy my symptoms increased. However, I was always treated as if my symptoms and pain were nonexistent. During my third c-section, I did not receive my newborn baby as expected, and instead remained on the operating table to remove “scar tissue from my bladder”. Not once did this surgeon even mention they were performing this additional procedure, and only provided minimal amount of information after I repeatedly asked why the operation continued far past the delivery of my baby boy. The surgeon appeared annoyed and offered no additional information before, during, or after the surgery. I never fully recovered after this. I found myself going to every obgyn within a two-hour radius and was in and out of the emergency room repeatedly. I was sent home being told I had “sciatica” when my legs stopped working and I could no longer walk for hours on end. I traveled with a heating pad wherever I went. I had one in my car, my office, and my bedroom. I had burn marks on my skin from extended use because it was the only bit of relief I got. There were times I couldn’t get out of my bed or my car because I could no longer bend my back or my legs. It felt like someone was carving my abdomen with a knife almost 24 hours per day. I was in agony ALL THE TIME. I bled for 6 months straight until I was given birth control that stopped my period all together. I thought this was an answer to my prayers, but it ultimately did not help. On my final trip to the local ER, after losing my ability to stand up straight, I was blessed with a nurse practitioner that suffered with endometriosis. She listened to me and ordered every scan imaginable. My MRI showed signs of endometriosis, adenomyosis, and potential hyperplasia malignancy. I finally had some answers! I brought these test results to FOUR different obgyns, and it didn’t change the outcome at all. I felt dismissed and invalidated all over again because these providers had no idea how to properly treat this agonizing disease. After feeling defeated again, my aunt and cousin sent me Bindi Irwin’s article about her surgery with Dr. Seckin. I immediately went to their website and sent over all my information and someone from the office got back to me two days later. They were all so kind and accommodating. During my initial appointment with Dr. Seckin, he took one look, and knew what was going on almost immediately. Turns out – my c-sections never healed and there were concerns I also had endometriosis in my c-section scar. I finally found someone who could help me. I was being listened to, and there was a plan in place for me to get the surgery I so desperately needed. The procedure itself went smoothly. All the staff and medical professionals were wonderful. Hours after the surgery I felt better than before I had it. The nurses couldn’t believe how quickly I was up and walking! Turns out, I had endometriosis removed off 14 different areas in my body. I also needed a supracervical hysterectomy and Oophorectomy. When the pathology report came back, it indicated I had atypical endometrial hyperplasia in two spots on
