If I could give Sei Tomoko more than 5 stars, I would. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2018 and couldn’t be anymore happier with the quality of service every time I come in. Akiko has the hands of a goddess and knows exactly what you want and even elevates what you’re looking for. Don’t walk, run to Sei Tomoko and ask for Akiko!

Mutsumi is the best. She just gets it… perfect, technical cut every time and she really listens and understands what you want. Take it from someone who always had a tough time explaining to stylists (even with photos!) the aesthetics of the cut I want. Even if sometimes my cut has elements that are atypical for a style (but are what I’m wanting at the time), she listens and understands and delivers. I always leave happy and with zero anxiety that I won’t get what I came in to get - which is a feeling I’ve had in 99% of other hair salons.

Been a loyal client since '06. Top-notch Japanese salon with impeccable service. Detail-oriented stylists tailor each cut to your style. Friendly atmosphere, worth the reservation wait. (There's a good reason it's hard to reserve here. And it's worth it.)Highly recommend for incredible hair care. My female friends who've gone swear by it. They also have a location on west 4th, btw.
