As a regular renter at Salon by JC, I attribute my continued patronage to the exceptional manager, Janice. Her inner and outer beauty radiate as she warmly welcomes me with a smile. Not only does she efficiently handle any issues that arise, but she also maintains the salon impeccably. Today, she went above and beyond by bringing lunch for all the stylists – a gesture that truly sets her apart. In Janice's capable hands, I always feel relaxed and comfortable. My love for this place is undoubtedly tied to her presence. If you're a hairstylist seeking a studio-style business at Salon by JC, I highly recommend asking for Janice – you won't be disappointed.
The salon itself is a no frills series of cubicles rented by hair stylists, manicurists and other salon-spa services. It's a bit confusing and there was no one at front desk, so be sure you get specific directions. On the other hand, after losing track of Wesley Antico who cut my hair at Aveda Soho, I found him at JC. He's terrific. Good cuts, known for color, funny, and a pleasant experience. And affordable!
As a business owner at this establishment I can honestly say I love it here. All of my clients love it as well. The on site cleaning daily is one of my fav things about it. It’s always clean and welcoming. The manager Janice makes the best lunches for us on the weekends and always makes sure we’re taken care of. Everyone here has been great since I moved in in June. It feels like a community. 5/5 for sure.
