I usually don't write Yelp reviews, but really felt like I had to express my frustration with this place (86 Bowery). I saw that there was a Groupon for 90 minutes for $58.50. I called and asked if they would match the price of Groupon and they said they would. When I got there, they stated that it was $75.00 and then when I showed them the screenshot of the Groupon, they still did not honor the $58.50 and charged me $65.00. They had me pay upfront, which I thought was strange, but went ahead and Venmo-ed. Towel to cover oneself was damp (maybe high NYC humidity?). This place needs some serious work to get to 5 stars. Dearest Yelpers STAY AWAY FROM HERE they will say $65 for 70 minutes for a mediocre massage. They will be talking throughout the massage- my masseuse picked up 5 phone calls during my massage! She was horrible and they do not clean the rooms thoroughly. They use the same dirty towels for every person. There is literally a sheet in between each guest so you can hear EVERYTHING and it is IMPOSSIBLE to relax. Everyone is talking. You will be wasting your time if you come in and they take cash and it will be cheaper but will charge extra for credit card. You have been warned DO NOT COME HERE. Unclean facility, rude staff. Not relaxing. There are not full separators between massage rooms so you can hear everything going on in other rooms. The staff is loud, talking to each other, eating, etc. One employee came to my room while I was being massaged and started yelling at my masseuse in another language for like a full two minutes - while I was being massaged. I was willing to put up some some lack of panache given the price, but I will not go back any longer after this incident.
